Day 1 Dec 23rd
We pick you up at the airport in Dublin, and make our way to Kells where we will take a break for lunch, then we go on to Donegal town and spend a couple of hours checking out the town. We can check out some of the great shops and the Castle too. We are always very flexable, if you are exhausted from your long journey, and just want to settle into your room and relax at a cosy fire for the night in the Castle we will be glad to bring straight there.
Day 2 Dec 24th
You have a choice to stay and enjoy all the Castle has to offer....the pool, Whirlpool, spa treatment room, or you can take a day trip with us to visit some of the local scenic sites, and neighboring towns. We will visit a breath taking place called Sliabh Leig if the weather permits, and also a small fishing village called Killybegs before returning to the Castle for our evening meal and entertainment.
Day 3 Dec 25th
Today is Christmas day so we relax and enjoy all the Castle has to offer. We will be enjoying a Christmas morning Full Irish Breakfast served in Cedars Restaurant, a welcome glass of Sparking wine to commence Christmas Day Buffet Lunch served in the Castle Ballroom from 12 noon to 3.30pm, and in the evening we enjoy our Christmas night Buffet Supper served in the Cedars Restaurant from 7pm to 9pm. Live music in the Gallery bar will be available for our enjoyment so you can dance and sing the night away.
Day 4 Dec 26th
We take you on a very scenic drive to Sligo today, going on the coastal road at Mullaghmore, visiting the last resting place of that world famous poet, W.B Yeats at the Church yard in Drumcliff. Horseshoe drive at the back of Benbulben mountain (depending on the weather) We have a couple of hours to explore the shops in Sligo before we make our way back to have our St Stephen's Day dinner in the Cedars Restaurant or the Gallery bar in the Castle.
Day 5 Dec 27th
Today we leave Solís Lough Eske Castle and make our way to The Fitzpatrick Castle hotel in Killiney Dublin where we stay for two days before returning to the airport.
We visit ancient Abbeys, Forest Parks, we see the smallest Church in Ireland on our journey to Dublin.
We have the evening to take advantage of what is on offer in the Castle, or we can take a walk down to the beach if the weather is not too bad. You can also take a train into Dublin to experience the night life there.
Day 6th Dec 28th
Exploring Dublin City today and all it has to offer. You have a choice today to either go shopping in one of the many shopping centers or stay with us and we will bring you on a short bus journey through Dublin, then you can visit the Guinness Store house, You could stroll around Temple bar area, or check out the many bars and restaurants while there. We will drop you to wherever you want to go, and in the evening we will pick you up and bring you back to the Castle for your last nights stay in Ireland.
Day 7th Dec 29th
We take you to the wonderful St Kevin's Monastery in Glendalough. We return to Fitzpatricks Castle hotel for a relaxing evening.
Day 8th Dec 30th
We bring you back to the airport today and say goodbye to Ireland. We hope you bring great memories of Ireland with you back home.
