Secret Ireland tours are delighted to join forces with Nancy Keyser, family and cousins to create an itinerary covering most of Ireland. We visit some amazing places such as Powerscourt House and Gardens, Newgrange, Titanic museum, Giants Causeway, Sliabh Liag, Cliffs of Moher. We visit amazing waterfalls, Lakes, Castles, Distilleries, we see birds of prey, oyster farm, amazing scenery, beaches, and we stay in a variety of beautiful hotels, from small country family run hotels to 3 and 4 star, and we also stay in an Irish Castle too!
We are entertained by some of the best musicians in Ireland. You will enjoy hanging out with the locals too!

Day 1
We pick you up at Dublin airport at around 9am and bring you to our first stop, Powerscourt gardens and Waterfall in Co Wicklow. Amazing gardens, ponds, walks here and the waterfall is magical! We then come back to Dublin where we bring you on a bus tour, pointing out famous places. We drop you off to explore yourselves and meet you in O'Neills pub/restaurant in Pearse St Dublin for an evening meal before returning to our hotel. We are staying in:

Day 2
We go North today. Our first stop is Newgrange which is a very special historical site in Ireland and indeed in Europe. It is a collection of underground passage tombs that pre-date the pyramids by 500 years.
We then go to Belfast city, take a bus tour and visit the Titanic museum to learn about the making and launching of that ship. Tonight we stay in Larne which is North of Belfast in the Curran Court Hotel.

Day 3
We take the scenic route through the Glens of Antrim to our first stop..Carrick-a-Read Bridge where you will spend a short time before going on to explore one of the wonders of the world which is called The Giants Causeway. You then go to the nearby Bushmills distillery to have a taste or two of that world famous whiskey. We learn how it is made and where they get the raw material for it. We stay in the town of Letterkenny tonight in a Station House Hotel (TBC)

Day 4
Today you are taken on a very scenic drive to the highest cliffs in Europe called Sliabh Liag. The scenery on the way there is spectacular. There is a viewing bay for your pleasure and there is also a cliff walk that you can take if you feel inclined. We then take you Mullaghmore Coastal drive where you can take a little time to take photo's of the North West coast. Then totally different scenery as we take you around the Horseshoe drive at the back on our iconic mountain in Sligo called Benbulben. We finish off the day with a visit to a very historical beach called Streedagh in North Sligo. We make our way to the hotel that we will stay in for the next three nights called Cawleys Hotel.

Day 5
For the first half of the day we give you a choice of what you might want to do. We can book you into a tour that entails visiting an Oyster farm on the beautiful Coney Island which takes about 2 hours, or we can book you into Voya Seaweed baths, or we can bring those people who want to hike up a mountain nearby called Knocknarea, you will see Queen Maeve's burial mound there and the views are breath-taking, or we can bring you into Sligo town to explore it for a while.
In the afternoon you are going as a group to visit Lissadell House where the famous Gore-Booths and Countess Markievicz lived. We then finish off the evening with a visit to Eagles Flying.

Day 6
We bring you to Parkes Castle which is nestled on the shores of the beautiful Lough Gill. The scenery around the lake is breath-taking and as we go further we pop in to see Tobernault Holy Well. A very historic site with both Christian and Pagan rituals preformed years ago. We take you to Glencar Waterfall to take in the sheer beauty of the place before going on to Lough Key Forest Park. There you will see the 11th century McDermotts Castle from the shore, there are tunnels, Canopy walks, fairy bridges, zip lines, wishing chairs, Bog Gardens and so much more for you to explore!

Day 7
Today we bring you to the city of Galway but on the way we stop
at Knock Shrine where people who want to attend Mass in the famous Knock Basilica can do so. Others can explore the grounds and shrine and then we make our way to Spiddal Craft village where you will be able to stroll in and out of the craft shops and workshops watching all the craft men and women as they work on there amazing crafts, and you will also hear the locals speak in their native language of Irish.
We then bring you to Galway city with its cobbled streets, small shops and musical streets. The night life is great too and we stay there tonight.

Day 8
We head for the Cliffs of Moher but on the way we take a short stop in Kinvarra and visit the Castle there. The cliffs of Moher are spectacular and are always very busy with tourists. There is a great Heritage center there and a gift shop too! We then go on to check out Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. You will get a tour of the Castle and learn all about its history and then you can take your time visiting all the houses in the folk park and learn how we lived in times gone by.

Day 9
We are making our way back to Dublin today but on the way we visit the amazing Rock of Cashel that overlooks the town and the stunning countryside of the Golden Vale. You will hear all about the history of this place from one of their great tour guides. We then visit Kilkenny Castle and town before going to Fitzpatricks Castle for our last night accommodation. You can boast about staying in an authentic 18th century Castle when you go back to your friends.

Day 10
We bring you back to the airport today and wish you a safe flight back home. We don't say goodbye but "See you when you return with Secret Ireland Tours"
